Pregnant in Haiti – help now

Haiti flagThere are approximately 63,000 pregnant women in Port-au-Prince, 7000 are due to deliver this month. During the next 6 months, 15% of all pregnant women (approximately 9400 women) will require care for life-threatening complications of pregnancy.

There are many organizations reaching out to help Haitians, this organization is working specifically with pregnant and birthing mothers – Reproductive Health Response in Crisis. Please read about their work at www.rhrc.org
